It’s about that time, when the bulls take to the battlefield to duke it out. I’m talking about the elk rut, of course.

I’m excited to have a trip planned to experience it again, and hopefully come home with a few good photos.

As I can’t be in two places at once, the gallery will be closed from Sept 15–23. I look forward to sharing a whole slew of new photos from the great outdoors the next time you stop in.

A new customer named Jay came in asking if I had any photos of a jay (the bird). I looked through the archives and he picked out this Steller’s Jay that I photographed earlier this year. A quick print later and he was on his way with his bird print.

Looking for a specific animal or place? Just ask. I probably have it and I can print it while you wait.

Hey all! If you peek through the gallery windows in the next few days, don’t worry, we haven’t been robbed. Most of my work is on its way to the Payette Lakes Fine Art & Craft Fair in McCall!
I’ll have a mix of aluminum and paper prints for sale. Some longtime favorites, some brand new pieces, all original photography captured and edited by me.
If you’re heading to the event this weekend, stop by and say hi. And if you’re in Lewiston, it’s a great weekend for a day trip to McCall for some art.
