Let's be honest... we've all opened the microwave and thought, "I'll clean that tomorrow." 😅

Good news! You can have it sparkling clean in about 5 minutes using 3 simple, all-natural ingredients you probably already have at home:

💧 1 cup water
🤍 1–2 tablespoons white vinegar
🍋 1 lemon

Here's how:

1️⃣ Mix the water, vinegar, and the juice from one lemon in a microwave-safe bowl. Drop the lemon halves into the bowl.
2️⃣ Microwave on HIGH for 3–5 minutes, until it's steaming.
3️⃣ Leave the door closed for 5–10 minutes to let the steam loosen the mess.
4️⃣ Carefully remove the bowl and wipe the inside clean with a damp cloth or sponge.
5️⃣ Wash the glass turntable and roller ring with warm, soapy water, then place them back inside.

✨ No harsh chemicals.
✨ No scrubbing for half an hour.
✨ Just a fresh-smelling microwave and a little less elbow grease.

With the potential for planned power outages due to high winds and wildfire prevention, here are a few simple steps you can take to help protect your appliances:

🔌 Unplug sensitive electronics and appliances like TVs, computers, microwaves, coffee makers, and countertop appliances.

⚡ Leave large appliances plugged in, but consider turning them off if possible. Most modern refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, and dishwashers are designed to handle outages.

❄️ Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed. A closed refrigerator will stay cold for about 4 hours, and a full freezer can keep food frozen for up to 48 hours.

💡 When power is restored, wait a few minutes before turning appliances back on to allow the electrical supply to stabilize.

🛡️ Consider surge protection. Power surges can happen when electricity is restored, and a quality whole-home or appliance surge protector can help safeguard your investment.

When we heard about Porch Goose Bingo, we figured one goose would be fun...

Then somehow a second goose showed up.

Then they each needed a wardrobe... 8 matching holiday outfits for EACH goose (because these two clearly have a busier social calendar than the rest of us).

Then they insisted on flowers...
..and even picked out their own "My Yard, My Rules" garden sign.

Before we knew it... this happened. 😂
