⚠️ Possible Power Outages? Here's How to Protect Your Appliances. ⚠️

With the potential for planned power outages due to high winds and wildfire prevention, here are a few simple steps you can take to help protect your appliances:

🔌 Unplug sensitive electronics and appliances like TVs, computers, microwaves, coffee makers, and countertop appliances.

⚡ Leave large appliances plugged in, but consider turning them off if possible. Most modern refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, and dishwashers are designed to handle outages.

❄️ Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed. A closed refrigerator will stay cold for about 4 hours, and a full freezer can keep food frozen for up to 48 hours.

💡 When power is restored, wait a few minutes before turning appliances back on to allow the electrical supply to stabilize.

🛡️ Consider surge protection. Power surges can happen when electricity is restored, and a quality whole-home or appliance surge protector can help safeguard your investment.

🪿🚨 WARNING: There may have been a slight goose-related budgeting issue at Largent's... 🚨🪿

When we heard about Porch Goose Bingo, we figured one goose would be fun...

Then somehow a second goose showed up.

Then they each needed a wardrobe... 8 matching holiday outfits for EACH goose (because these two clearly have a busier social calendar than the rest of us).
