I have a new foster friend! Meet Minnie, a tiny 12-yr-old black and cinnamon girl whose meow sounds like a broken squeak toy. She is outgoing: loves to explore and adventure, and just soaks up love and attention. She'll need a home with no other pets so she can be top dawg.

It's a big day, it's Art Walk day! I have a family event this evening, so the lovely Jenna - who you know and love from Blue Jay Coffee - will be filling in at Quiet City Books! I am so grateful to her for not only being available and willing, but excited to help out so that I didn't have to close the shop on such a busy night.

I also really love Jenna for her commitment to our community: the people she serves at Blue Jay, fellow downtown businesses and events, and her bright, beautiful energy. She's a gem and we're lucky to have her.
