📈 What’s Happening With Feed/Grain Prices?

We believe it's better to give our customers a heads-up early rather than surprise you later.

Grain markets have been moving sharply, with corn, wheat, and soybean prices all seeing significant increases. Since these commodities are major ingredients in many livestock and animal feeds, higher grain costs can eventually mean higher feed prices.

Dry conditions and increased demand are adding more pressure to an already volatile market.

We can't predict exactly where prices will go from here, but we can tell you what we're seeing. We'll continue working closely with our suppliers and doing what we can to keep prices competitive.

As always, if you have questions about your feeding program or ways to make the most of your feed budget without compromising nutrition, come talk to us. That's what we're here for.

The Heat Takes a Toll on Pasture Grass 🐄

After a long stretch of summer heat, pasture grass can start losing its nutritional quality. If your pasture is dry and deplete of nutrients, it's time to start supplementing with hay. You might also consider a good fly buster tub with added protein to help fill the gap.
