Bee balm is such an amazing plant. Easy to grow from seed, deer and pest resistant, drought tolerant, gently fragrant, it has a long bloom life in the landscape and vase, and- as the name would imply- it's a pollinator magnet. And it just looks SO COOL.

It perennializes here for me in zone 7 but it's not super reliable, so a usually grow a few extra every spring just in casem
