I'M BACK!! It has been a while but I am back with a bang! I will no only be posting a lot of things for sale but I will also have my own vendor tent at the Enoree River Winery LLC 's Christmas in July event! It will be Saturday July 22nd starting at 12:00pm until 6:00pm and it's free to come out and enjoy! I will have my crystals, gems, and all my goodies laid out for you to see in person and really get your hands on! Come out and enjoy all the vendors and the winery! I hope to see you all there!!

FOR SALE!!

Besides Garden Quartz, this is my absolute favorite!! Prehnite! This is Prehnite with epidote, I have had these a minute because it’s been hard to let go of them!

$20 and 4.47 inches tall (this one is imperfect but gorgeous nonetheless)

When taking care of it, remember sunlight and air over time can cause it to lose its color. It is also more brittle than that of a quartz or harder stone with a 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale.

Prehnite was named in 1788 by Abraham Gottlieb Werner in honor of the Dutch Colonel, Hendrik von/van Prehn around July 31 or August 2, 1733 Cape of Good Hope Colony - August 1785 Heilbronn, Wurttemberg {Germany}, who is credited with discovering the mineral in 1774 at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Von Prehn was a governor of Cape of Good Hope (1779-1780) until he was dismissed. He was a naturalist and mineral collector who brought the first specimens of his namesake mineral to Europe. This stone has been given a number of other names over the years, including adelite, chiltonite, chrysolite of sage, coupholite, Karoo stone, grape jade and more.
