Some pieces don’t simply furnish a room… they soften it.

There is something undeniably romantic about a home that has collected stories. Sunlight through lace curtains. Fresh blooms gathered from the garden. A favorite novel waiting to be opened. And a beautifully restored dresser standing quietly in the corner, ready to begin its next chapter.

This sweet vintage piece was lovingly refinished while preserving the timeless charm that first stole our hearts. We imagine it beside a bed, holding treasured keepsakes, linen sachets, and the little rituals that make a house feel like home.

May it find someone who loves old things, slow mornings, and the beauty of a life beautifully lived.

Available now at House of Blushwood inside Red Poppy Pickin’ in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

Painted in Dixie Belle Dropcloth, gently sanded and softened, original hardware has been gold gilded, the top has been refinished with Dixie Belle Walnut Oil Based Stain and sealed with a matte topcoat.
