Hi, I’m Grace 👋🏼 — and somehow, in less than two weeks, I get to say I own a needlepoint shop. 💚

I’m a Lexington girl, wife, mom, lifelong lover of Kentucky, and someone who has always loved bringing people together. I’m also an over-thinker, a big-dreamer, and the person who decided opening a retail store from scratch sounded like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. 😂

Thread & Gather started with a pretty simple idea: create the kind of needlepoint shop I wanted to spend time in. A welcoming place to stitch, shop, learn, and find community.

And while this shop started as my dream, getting here has been a group effort. Friends, family, fellow stitchers, local businesses, designers, and so many others have answered questions, made introductions, pitched in, and cheered me on. I’m incredibly grateful for the community that has helped bring Thread & Gather to life.

There have definitely been some “what have I done?” moments, but seeing this little idea become a real place has been pretty incredible.

And now, we’re almost ready to open the doors. 🥹

I can’t wait to welcome you in and finally show you what we’ve been building.
