We will work with you to custom build a guitar that is unique to your sound and style. Deadwood Guitar Company is an innovative company based in Athens, GA that prides itself in hand crafting guitars from local woods. Instead of importing wood we use available trees that have to come down and hand craft them into beautiful one of a kind instruments. Some of these trees are very rare and limited wh

ich can give the guitar a unique sound and look. Our customers work with us to build a guitar that fits your sound and style. Start by choosing your model and size. Based on your sound and aesthetic preference, choose from a selection of rare woods for the top, back/sides, and fretboard/bridge of your guitar. Pick your electric guitar pickups or choose to add acoustic pickups to your acoustic guitar. Finally, customize your inlay and upload a design to be laser etched into your guitar. Reach out to us and we'll work together to start building your custom guitar!

Sometimes here we have customers that want their guitar made with wood that they have. If it's something we can use and work with then we'll do our best. This tele is a great example of this.

This gentleman harvested this walnut with his father-in-law from their property 15 years ago. He always wanted to use it for something special but wasn't sure what until a few months ago when he brought it to us. We worked together to build him this incredible walnut tele with American holly binding. Its hollowed chambered to reduce the weight and equipped with Lollar pickups, Music city bridge and Gotoh tuners.
