Friends and family! I'm so excited to kick off a brand-new project this month for Sunrise of Jackson ~ an assisted living facility located in Jackson, NJ as well as other local facilities if able to raise enough for them.
A fellow book lady shared recently about the Book Drive she did for a local nursing facility in her area (see pictures in graphic below!)- and I knew I *had* to do something like it! I was enjoying visiting with residents (as well as my own grandmother) here at Sunrise pre-COVID. I even use to work as a CNA at a local facility on their memory unit floor.

Cognitive activities are CRUCIAL to this aging population - they not only help provide some mental stimulation, but also can provide comfort, relaxation and a sense of structure in an otherwise frustrating and scary world! 💕
