Not sure Bryan Sutton put all that wear on the back, but he did own this 1942 D-28 for a spell (and used it on a couple of his wonderful solo records). This herringbone has a seriously muscular voice, with the throttle and dry, impactful midrange that makes a world-class bluegrass guitar. We’ll be listing it soon. Get in touch with us if you’ve been waiting for a marquee pre-war D-28.
