A very unusual restock this week! Books were delayed a day in transit, and the proportions were pretty different than normal!! That giant, (ill-advised, wobbly) stack on the right? That’s a mix of next week’s new releases and special orders. The biggest THANK YOU to y’all for all the special orders the last couple of weeks, that has helped us tremendously while general sales have been slower! It’s also been a huge month for new releases, so fun!

A typical weekly restock is highest in chapter books and graphic novels, then picture and baby books, then adult books. I’ll snap another pic of a more typical week soon ❤️❤️

Keep us in mind if you’re purchasing physical copies of books… every book order means a lot to us and keeps us going, where it might not to many others.

All the love!

XOXO

Hi, friends! Our September Wildlings book club was so much fun!!! Thank you to all who came and dove deep into the underworld with us. We had ice cream, we theorized on how the underworlds (OVERworlds?!) might work, we created our own. And we got to use our new crafty space!

Tor Freeman ‘s Boss of the Underworld was a huge hit. We can’t wait for the second book!!

Stay tuned for the next Wildlings Book Club coming up in November! ❤️

Hi, friends! With Wildwood coming to theaters in October it was an easy choice to base this month’s mini me selections around the first fabulous book in the series! If you haven’t read Wildwood, by Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis yet… this is the perfect time. Ages 9+ and NOTE this book is thick!

Common threads between all of our September Mini Me options are daring main characters, adventures, magic and of course… the wild woods!

As with previous months we have multiple choices for different age ranges. UNlike previous months… our adult pick is actually YA! I read The Wild Huntress, by Emily Lloyd-Jones a few years back found it to be absolutely enchanting. This is a great pick for adults or teens!

We also have The Wolf Suit, by Sid Sharp (I reeeeally waffled between this and Bog Myrtle, also by Sid Sharp) for early chapter readers, or as a great read-aloud. This one has a bit of a spooky feel… and a fabulous twist at the end! Ages 6+

And lastly, every family should own a copy of Little Witch Hazel: A Year in the Forest by Phoebe Wahl. No great battles in this one, but Hazel’s life in the forest always captivates! Ages 4+ (but really, all ages!)

Mini Me bundles are available for purchase on our website for all of September (link in bio)! We order all books after the online order is placed, so please allow a few days for your books to arrive in the shop. And don’t forget… after 6 orders you get a free set of tote bags!

Happy reading!
