The Lexington Auditorium presents the 67th Lexington Old Homes Tour on September 23rd & 24th, sponsored by several local businesses!!

Thank you to the Lexington Historic Museum for continuing to support The LEX and the Lexington community!!

The Lexington Historic Museum is located at 112 S 13th Street and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1pm-4pm. The Museum features the elaborately decorated sword that James A Mulligan turned over in surrender, but was later allowed to keep per orders of General Sterling Price. The sword was then stolen by a young boy shortly after Mulligan's surrender and was hidden at his father's farm near Lexington. It was eventually returned to the widow of Colonial Mulligan in 1912. The family later donated the sword to the Lexington Historic Museum in 1967. Stop by the Museum to see memorabilia related to the Pony Express mail service, steamboats, coal mining, Osage Indians, the Wentworth Military Academy, and so much more!!
