The sign may say closed but the fun is yet to begin…

Once the sign is flipped and the doors are locked, the team takes a quick 5 minute breather before we do a lot of the “behind the scenes” stuff. Every week we learn new things to test out before the doors open again to your alls lovely faces come Thursday.

Sometimes it feels like Grandad’s has its own gravitational field the way time flies…

Howdy y’all

Gem Pack 6 has arrived at Grandad’s and will be available at open.

The singular Chinese exclusive hit out of this set is Applin, illustrated by Jiro Sasumo, who also did the Ralts, Kirlia & Gardevoir ex line from S&V base, Piplup from PFL and most notably the Charizard Illustration Grand Prix promo.

From orange fire breathing lizards to apples or however that saying goes. I give this exclusive a 6.7 on the cutie-patootie scale.

There are 28 IR’s to pull in the set. Outside of the new Applin, you’ll recognize artwork from Twilight Masquerade, Shrouded Fable , Surging Sparks, and Destined Rivals.

Gem Pack 6 also introduces 2 new foil variations, Glitter Foil and Prismatic Foil(so shiny…)
