🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, independence, and the values that make this country great, we also want to recognize and give thanks for the liberties protected by our Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment, the one amendment protecting all others.

In observance of Independence Day, Great Guns will be closed on July 4th so our team can spend time with family and celebrate this historic day.

We wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July as we honor our nation’s past, celebrate our freedom today, and look ahead with gratitude to a great future.

Whether it's a father teaching his son or daughter how to hunt, how to safely handle a firearm, or simply spending time together in God's creation, these moments become memories that last a lifetime.

The freedoms we enjoy today were preserved by generations who understood the importance of personal responsibility, self-reliance, and passing their values to the next generation.

This Father's Day, we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, and mentors who continue that tradition.

Big news for 6.5 Creedmoor fans, and maybe even news for those that weren’t fans…

Federal just announced the new 6.5 Creedmoor +Peak, featuring their new Peak Alloy case technology, and the performance numbers are impressive.

Federal says the new +Peak ammo is up to 300 fps faster than traditional brass-case 6.5 Creedmoor and even 100 fps faster than 6.5 PRC, while still being compatible with existing 6.5 Creedmoor rifles.

That means flatter shooting, less wind drift, more downrange energy, and a serious performance upgrade without having to buy a new rifle.

Several major ammunition brands are expected to see price increases beginning June 1. The reported increase is around 3% on certain rifle and handgun ammunition, driven by continued raw material and fuel cost pressure. This is on top of previous increases.

The good news: We have a large inventory of ammunition in stock right now.

Whether you need range ammo, hunting rounds, defensive ammo, or rimfire, this is a good time to stop in and stock up before replacement costs move higher.

No pressure and no gimmicks, just a heads-up for our customers who like to plan ahead. We dislike price increases as much as you do.
