Looking for Help!

I’m trying to find a fuel manifold for a Johnson 40 HP outboard. It’s the black plastic fuel manifold that the fuel lines from to the carburetors. Mine has two of the three hose ni***es broken off. The main barbed fuel inlet is still intact, but the two side outlets snapped off, making it unusable.

I’ve called marinas, boat shops, auto parts stores, and searched online everywhere I can think of without any luck.

If anyone has one they’re willing to sell, is parting out a Johnson 40 HP, or knows where I can find one, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve attached pictures of the exact part I’m looking for.

This is the last thing keeping me from getting my boat back on the water.

This year I decided to grow my very first garden, and seeing the first harvest come in has been pretty damn rewarding.

I still have plenty more growing and more to harvest, but my Hungarian wax peppers were ready to go! So tonight, I took another first step and did something I’ve never done before. My first ever canning project!

I made pickled Hungarian wax peppers with a spicy garlic brine, and I even threw in a cayenne pepper I harvested last week to kick the heat up a notch.

Now the hardest part… waiting to crack open that first jar and see how they turned out!

First garden. First harvest. First time canning. Not a bad way to start. 🌶️🧄

I’ve been working on something behind the scenes that I’ve wanted to bring to our area for a while now.

I’m not ready to say much yet…

The boys and I went rogue yesterday and hit an Indiana creek with our Keene sluice box to see what we could uncover. After running material through the sluice and putting in the work, we walked out of the creek with a picker.

For those who don’t know, a picker is a piece of gold big enough to pick up with your fingers. Finding one in an Indiana creek is a pretty awesome feeling and a reminder that there’s still treasure out there if you’re willing to get your hands dirty and put in the time.

Backwater Rogue is back and getting ready for what’s next!

During last week’s TikTok Live on Brookville Lake, some rough waves caused my boat to slam down and knocked my phone off the mount. I didn’t realize it at the time, but my phone ended up taking a trip to the bottom of the lake.

The good news is we’re back up and running with a new phone, and LIVE streams on TikTok and Facebook will be coming soon!

We’re also closing in on our first giveaway at 500 Facebook followers! Help us hit that goal by inviting 5 friends, sharing this post, and helping spread the word about Backwater Rogue. Yesterday the mailman dropped off my official Rebel Angler Tackle Tester stickers and I couldn’t be more fired up to get started. The stickers are on the boat and now it’s time to put some baits to work on the water.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be putting Rebel Angler products through real world testing right here on Backwater Rogue with honest reviews, catch reports, and footage from Indiana and Ohio waters. If you’re into bass, walleye, musky, and everything in between, make sure you’re following along because we’ve got a lot coming.

Just got my first Rebel Angler unboxing in and these crankbaits look incredible right out of the package. I’m excited to announce that I’ll also be joining the Rebel Angler team as a tackle tester, putting their soft plastics and other products to the test on the waters I fish here in Indiana and Ohio.
