So much going on this weekend!

We will be at the Grayslake Craft Beer Festival tomorrow pouring a Hefeweizen, Hop Water and our newest seltzer.

This event is one of our favorites of the summer and supports a great cause - Sips for Scholarships. 🍻

On Sunday we will be celebrating Father’s Day by making root beer with the smallest Denton’s at Libertyville Days (as long as the weather holds).

Some beers behave exactly how you planned… and some beers evolve into something better than you planned.

This was originally our Hefeweizen kit, brewed, canned, and left to do its thing for a year. A couple of low fills snuck in… and somewhere along the way, a little wild character (hello Brett 👀) made itself at home.

Fast forward: “Breffy” is born. Banana and clove have softened, and now it’s all tropical fruit, citrus, and just a hint of funky leather complexity.

This is what we love about homebrewing — it’s not just making beer, it’s watching it become something alive, shared, and completely unique.
