Fellow beef jerky lovers,
We want to thank you all for your support. Sadly, we will no longer be selling jerky. Betty’s Famous Jerky was an idea from our mother. Some of our first batches were for sale at PCA in Rolla. Sadly, some person must have been having a horrible day when they made an official complaint to the State of MO, Department of Agriculture, regarding a business that two young teenagers started to have some more cash on hand. We were forced to throw our beef jerky in the trash and pour oil over it, ruining the work that took us hours.
Our goal was to make some money while putting a smile on people’s faces while eating the most delicious beef jerky that has brought us smiles in our life. Our original plan was to see how Betty’s Famous Jerky would go over and if it was a success, we would go through the proper channels for licensing. At this time, we are not sure how we will proceed but will keep our page updated.
Again, we want to thank all of you for supporting us in this brief time.
