Join us on Saturday, September 12 as we celebrate the hardworking farmers and producers who have made the Ligonier Valley Farmers Market a destination for fresh, local products all season long🌱
Special activities throughout the market will include:
👩‍🌾 Meet the Farmers & Growers – Get to know the hardworking local folks who provide your vegetables, fruits, meats, cheese, eggs, honey and more! Hear their stories, ask questions and learn what makes local farming so special.
🥕 Farmer Q & A – Curious about the cows that graze the hillside above the market field? Stop by the Info Tent and chat with the Watershed Farm’s tenant farmer, Ken Reed, Jr., to learn about his cow-calf rotational grazing operation that provides food to local tables.
🍎 Children’s Scavenger Hunt – Young market visitors can explore the market while discovering different farm products and learning where their food comes from and earn a special prize! 🐄 Farm Fresh Raffle Prizes – Enter for a chance to win bushel baskets filled with delicious local products and farm favorites donated by our wonderful vendors.

Quick update on Huckle Bee Farms Honey delivery. I told many of you that we expected our honey order/s to be here by the end of last week. Unfortunately they have not arrived and I have not been able to get an update. I will post as soon as the orders arrive and apologize for the delay. We have been ordering months ahead and thought we were ahead of the game!

Petey has officially declared today a NO-LABOR Labor Day!

His plans include napping, snacking, sniffing a few flowers and supervising absolutely nothing.
