Hey, it’s an early update, but just so you don’t think we’ve forgotten you, we’ve got several big boxes of new 4K, blu-ray and DVD movies, TV shows and music CDs in and are currently processing them all and should be in store at Blue Sky Trading Company before this time next week!

We have accepted a gracious offer this morning from a local reseller who will be acquiring our remaining inventory and shelves from Amanda Ann’s Antiques. With that, so ends our sale from Ann’s and we will continue to offer items via our Blue Sky Trading Company booth. Look forward to more updates soon!

Dear Panda family,

We are sad to announce that we will be closing our booth with Amanda Ann’s Antiques as of the end of September. Due to circumstances with my health, it has been difficult to properly maintain our booths effectively this past year and it has reached a point where our sales of existing merchandise have fallen below monthly booth expenses.

As time allows, over the course of the month of September, we will slowly begin transferring our inventory to our booth located at Blue Sky Trading located in Lillian AL. To that end, any merchandise remaining at Amanda Ann’s will be offered a special sale of BUY 2 GET 1 FREE (lowest cost item is free) throughout the month of September. Further offers may be accepted for larger or bulk purchases so please ask. Keep in mind, if you see something you want and decide to wait, it may not be there on your next visit.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of this journey and we look forward to providing more updates on the future of our little shop.

So today, I made my first trip back to Blue Sky Trading Company since going into the hospital in October 2025 (wheelchair and all!) and brought with us a box of new pretties for the booth! Thanks especially to my wife Michelle Smith for helping out with the booths in my absence (and continuing to be my lifeline and still putting up with me)! It was a hot day so we didn’t get to stay long but it really felt therapeutic to straighten the shelves a bit. Amanda Ann's Antiques, expect a visit from me very soon as well!

So, I know that modern physical games aren’t really our thing but I just wanted to throw this out therr as a warning so you st least know what you’re getting.

Grand Theft Highway Robbery?

Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a physical edition that comes with no disc, only a code in box. If that wasn’t bad enough, the price is $79.99 and has a bunch of content and customization walled off unless you buy the $99.99 version. Oh, and there’s no multi player.

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t buy many modern physical games mostly because I prefer Steam for modern games and because modern physical games are incomplete at launch largely (and frequently completely broken) and you can’t preserve that for the long haul easily. All this still really leaves a bad taste either way though.

I would like to pick up a PS5 and Xbox series X (with disc drives) for testing and home use. If anyone has either of these working that they are looking to trade, I am happy to offer additional store credit based on the type of system and condition up to $100 above local trade in values of each.

Examples:
As of this time, a PS5 Pro trades at $467.50 so, you would receive $567.50 in credit. An Xbox Series X 1tb with drive is $275, so you would receive $375 in credit. These are contingent on these being clean and working.

This credit can be used all at once in either of our booths or saved toward any future purchases.
