It's incredibly hard to find the right words to share this, but I wanted to take a moment to honor someone who has been such an important part of my greenhouse journey.
My cousin, Rod, passed away. To my kids, he was Uncle Rod, and to me, he was so much more than just a cousin. He was one of the people who believed in me and helped us from the very beginning of the business.
He was there for all the behind-the-scenes work that made greenhouse season happen. He repaired leaky hoses, helped unload trucks, planted and taught me the importance of WD-40. We jokingly called him a "Dirt Devil" because he would help fill and move the endless pots of soil. But he especially loved selling season, when he could visit with our customers, talk plants, and be part of the excitement.
Rod didn't just help my business he was part of it. He was part of the story, part of the hard work, and part of so many memories that I will carry with me forever.
