This Christmas, I had the absolute pleasure of creating not one, but two custom orders! I love how they both turned out and they were both very well received!! The octopus hat was actually based off of the customer's cat, so we matched the coloring and eyes to the cat, made the pupils vertical like a cat, and I surprised them by using glow in the dark yarn for the eyes! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! ❤️🎄🧶

This is very true! I never know what to charge on things that I make because I want to make sure they are affordable for people. However, it is really easy to undersell due to this because people who don't crochet/knit oftentimes don't understand the time that goes into a product. Of course you are able to find something similar for cheaper somewhere else, but that is because they are probably being undersold by that seller as well. Keep this in mind when an artist/crafter gives you a quote for a project ❤🧶

Done and done! I was gifted a weaved pillow crochet kit from the 70s and used it as a learning project. Every strip is a different crochet stitch! Now the finished pillow will go to the person who gave me the kit! ❤️🧶
