Hello Friends!

All I can say is WOW. This year has been the biggest learning experience of my life. I found myself, I found a couple amazing friends and I found a new wonderful relationship with God and I have done a total body transformation. I lost over 130 pounds, and am for the first time exercising twice a day religiously. I never thought I would say that a year of incarceration would be the best thing that ever happened to me; but that is exactly what it was. It is just proof that everything happens for a reason. I want to go thank every one of you for your patronage and friendship over the years at Oliverde and Lincoln Olive Oil Shop. I hope you remember the shop with fond memories and great experiences. I know I will. Please take s few minutes to look at the videos and pictures on this site, as in a week or so I will be deleting the entire site forever. As part of my recovery is to let go of the past. Therefore, LOOS will not ever come back. That chapter of my life is complete. I will however be doing new exciting things. Rob Baker Motivations will be launched soon. Be watching for that! Finally, I wish you all the best. You gave me over 5 years of joy and friendship. I will cherish it always. The best IS yet to come!!

An open letter to all of you:
I don't imagine many of you were expecting to see a post from LOOS today. It has been over nine months since the new LOOS closed abruptly due to my absence. First and foremenst, I want to say I am sorry to all of you. I broke your trust, burned bridges and destroyed friendships with my actions. While I have spent this past year rebuilding my life personally with treatment and counseling, volunteering and working towards being the best person I can be, I wanted to apologize to all of you. I am not asking for pity or even forgiveness. I caused my legal problems and I, and only I, am responsible for the incident that took place and for the consequences it carries. Part of the process is to apologize to those I hurt. All of you, the LOOS family, were part of who I hurt. As this situation enters its final stage this Monday, the work for me will be life long. A big part of me has always been working. From growing up in the pizza world to Corporate Management to Olive Oil; I do not know a life without putting work first and making it my passion. This will happen again soon. Keep an eye out for more postings on this page in the future because BIG things will be happening again soon. When you hit rock bottom, you have nowhere to go but up. With the help of family and a lot of prayers I am overcoming this and my demons. I wish you all the best and I will face the future with warm courage and high hope.

This weekend join our friends from the Nebraska Pork Producers for Capital City Ribfest in the festival space north of Pinnacle Bank Arena in the Haymarket. Employee Spotlight - Yousif - Yousif has been with LOOS since fall of 2015. He is currently a sophomore in Lincoln Public Schools. When not at school or work, he can usually be found in his car safely driving (???) up and down O Street!!
