It's ba-a-a-ck! Our lavender lemonade mix is back in stock, probably for all of about two days, it goes so fast! Get down to Placer Farmers Market this Saturday morning from 7:30 until noon to grab a bag before it's gone again - it won't be in stock for very long!
If you miss getting the lemonade mix, we also sell our culinary grade lavender buds in two varieties, which can be used to make your own lavender simple syrup on your own stovetop at home. My easy-peasy recipe is one cup water, one cup sugar, put both in a saucepan on the stove and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Take it off the stove, add two tablespoons of our culinary grade lavender, stir together and let sit for 5 to 30 minutes, depending on how strong you want your syrup to be. Strain the lavender buds from the liquid, and voila! - simple syrup that will last several weeks in your refrigerator. Use it for teas, coffees, lemonade, cocktails, cooking, baking - the sky's the limit!
Our farm will be open this weekend 9am to 3pm, so if you miss us at the farmers market, head on out to the lavender fields, bring a picnic lunch, and treat yourself to a relaxing time on the farm. See you soon!
