Lincoln friends, help us save some donuts tonight 😭! Today has been sooo slow and we still have about 5–6 dozen fresh mochi donuts left tonight. We hate throwing away donuts at the end of the day, especially after all the work that goes into making them. 🥺 They were all freshly made today and we have a good variety of flavors left!

Come grab a box for dessert, bring some to work tomorrow, surprise your neighbors… anything to help us give these donuts a home instead of the trash can 😭🍩

Our donuts came out a little smaller this morning… and no, we’re not downsizing them. 😂🍩

The temperature dropped today, and apparently our dough noticed before we did. 😅 Cooler temperatures can slow down proofing, so this morning’s batch didn’t rise quite as much as usual.

That’s the reality of making fresh donuts every day. Some days teach us something new.

We’re a small family business, and we’re always learning, adjusting, and working to make our donuts better. As the seasons change, we’ll adjust right along with them. ❤️

Same recipe. Same ingredients. Same MoDo. Just Nebraska weather keeping us on our toes. 😂🍂

A little boba lesson from behind the counter.

We LOVE when you customize your drinks. Extra boba, popping boba, jelly, pudding… load it up if that’s your thing. And yes, we appreciate the extra topping sales too. 😂💰

But here’s something you might not realize:

Every topping takes up space in the cup. These two drinks had **6 toppings EACH**. One had so many toppings that there wasn’t enough room for all the tea, so we put the remaining tea in a separate smaller cup so the customer could still enjoy their whole drink. 😅

There’s also the flavor to think about. Most toppings are already sweet, so adding several can make your drink much sweeter than expected. With enough toppings, they can even overpower the tea, matcha, coffee, or fruit flavor you originally ordered.

Our little recommendation? **1–2 toppings is usually a great balance** if you still want to taste the drink itself. 🧋

But if 6 toppings makes you happy, we’re not here to stop you. 😂 Just know what you’re signing up for: less room for tea and a VERY loaded, very sweet cup.

We roast real pecans, make our maple glaze, dip each donut by hand, add the toasted pecan pieces, then finish it with our favorite part — a little heart pipette filled with 100% organic maple syrup ❤️

Give it a squeeze before your first bite for that extra maple goodness. 🍁

Yes… we’re throwing the boba away. 😭🧋

Cooked tapioca pearls only stay fresh and chewy for a few hours. Once they’ve been sitting too long, the texture just isn’t the same.

That’s why we cook our black boba in multiple small batches throughout the day instead of making one huge batch and serving it all day.

And we HATE wasting boba. 😭 Toward the end of the day, if we know we have extra, we’ll sometimes offer customers free boba if they didn’t choose a topping — or give our boba lovers a little extra. 😂🖤

But whatever is left at the end of its fresh window has to go.

More work for us, better boba for you. 🫶
