The Daisy

The Daisy The Daisy Thrift Store is a fresh boutique for women, offering gently used clothing and accessories. Proceeds from The Daisy support Fresh Start. to 7 p.m.

Our shoppers love the high-quality, gently-worn items hand-selected by volunteers. Only fashionable items, clean and in good repair are considered for sale. The Daisy is completely operated by volunteers. Items sold in the Daisy include women’s clothing, accessories and small household items. Items sold come from the donations received from generous members of the community. The women who live at

Fresh Start access the clothing first, and what they do not select is then sorted by the Daisy volunteers and placed in the shop. Gift certificates are provided to other local service organizations that serve women in order to make the clothing items available to more people in need. Hours:
THIRD Thursdays: 4 p.m. Fridays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays: 10 a.m. Donations are accepted on

Daisy friends Give to Lincoln Day is another great way to further the services provided by Fresh Start.

Every night Fresh Start provides a safe place for 24 women to rest. Many, after their first few days, say it’s the best sleep they’ve had in a long time. They could actually relax and not feel a need to be hypervigilant.

Hi friends! Please be aware that a large branch fell to the right of our building and is blocking the driveway. We are hoping it will be cleared by the time we open today, but if not, please park behind our building or along 65th St. We would also advise not parking next to the tree, even after the branch is cleared. Thanks for your patience/understanding!
