I’m so sorry, everyone, but Weathered Whatnots will NOT be setting up inside KT Designs after all.

I was originally told that I couldn’t bring door hangers or apparel because they already had plenty of those items, but I was also told that I had “you carry a lot of other cute products if you'd still want to look into bringing those”. So, of course, I moved forward with that understanding.

Fast-forward to yesterday… I spent literally ALL DAY (after my dirty soda booth setup of course) at storage pulling side tables, shelving, and other items from my old Painted Tree space that I planned to use in my new space. I spent the entire day taking pictures and getting everything entered into the system and ready to go (which has been wiped clean).

Then I received a text saying that too much of my inventory was similar to another vendor’s.

Here’s the part that really gets me: she already knew I was bringing crocheted items. I was never trying to duplicate another vendor—I was simply bringing the products I make and sell, along with plenty of other items that I have available.

So despite having SO many other things that could have worked in the space, I was told it was a “no for now.”

Take it however you want, but saying I’m absolutely heartbroken and pi**ed off is an understatement. 😡

I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed—not just because of the decision, but because of the time, effort, and entire day I spent preparing for something I was told was going to happen. Also, I made new crochet plushies last week after I got off from my full-time job!!!!

So, unfortunately, Weathered Whatnots will not be setting up at KT Designs. 💔

• So back to the drawing board of trying to find a new home for Weathered Whatnots • ANY IDEAS?

Would anyone be interested in stopping by on Sunday for a refreshing dirty soda or some liquidated painted tree merchandise?

"Since my pop-up dirty soda booth was so inadvertently interrupted today and had to break it down and drive back to Lincoln - I couldn't make any money today - I'm thinking… If I set up a dirty soda booth on Sunday at the house and have some discounted painted tree merch or something… Would people want to stop by??"

Weathered Whatnots will not be at the Fallbrook festival tonight… In the midst of setting up the estate sale and home decor/craft liquidation sale… My workbench came crashing down on my arm when I tried to lift it up a notch. Hopefully it's not broke!!
