Sue McGill will be walking you through the process from start to finish on making your very own unique pottery piece in this two-session class. The first class will be held on October 3rd at 1 pm, and the second on October 17th at 1 pm. Please make sure you are available for both sessions. 🌿 A little community connection, brought into the shop.

One of our customers — and, more importantly, a dear friend of the shop — recently invited us into her garden to give her beautiful hydrangeas a little trim.

Rather than letting those blooms go to waste, we brought them back to the shop, carefully dried them, and are now giving them a second life throughout our space.

From her garden to our shop, these hydrangeas now have a new story to tell. 🌿

If you’ve ever wandered through our plants and spotted a little unexpected visitor, don’t worry — they’re part of the team! 😂

Our shop has a few resident beneficials who have made themselves right at home among the plants.

🦎 Leonard — our larger lizard and unofficial head of security. He loves hanging out in the plants and keeping an eye on things.

🦎 Lily — Leonard’s much smaller counterpart, who can usually be found darting around the greenery.

🦗 And our praying mantis, Lionel — one of nature’s little helpers, doing his part to keep unwanted pests in check.

We love that our shop is more than just a place to buy plants — it’s a little living ecosystem. 🌱 From the plants themselves to the tiny creatures that call them home, there’s always something new to discover at White Oak Artisans.

So next time you see one of our beneficials, say hello… just don’t ask Leonard which plant is better- he can’t choose. 😉
