Brian and I had such a great experience at the Fig Festival on Ocracoke Island this past weekend. It was full of great music, square dancing, everything fig including a great fig vibe. It was hot so we had to keep all the chocolate in coolers and told people they had the either pop it in their mouth right away or whisk it away to AC or a cooler. I didn't anticipate how much pleasure I would get from watching people savor ChuChu Chocolates. 💕The closed eyes, the mmmm's, ahhhh's, and yums... one young woman smiled and said, "I just had a flash of my grandmother." Food...it provides so much more than just sustenance. And the Fig Festival was the "icing on the cake".
