The Lobster Pound Restaurant served it's first lobster in 1926 in the exact same location on Lincolnville Beach where it stands today. Back then the restaurant was simply an outdoor cooker and a couple of picnic tables, through the years it has grown into the 260 seat iconic landmark establishment that it is today. We have always been a family oriented restaurant with the former owners Dick and Pa

tty McLaughlin at the helm for the past 44 years. In the spring of 2017 the restaurant was purchased by two local hospitality entrepreneurs Danny and Carla Lafayette. We love our local roots and our classic and timeless dishes. We look forward to serving you and your family this upcoming season!
