We went to East Texas Poultry Trade Days, in Gilmer, and brought plants and planters! They sold very well, and it was an awesome day meeting new people! Even though it was cold, windy, and raining 😁 A transformer blew and for the most part, the barn was in the dark BUT! The vendors were so accommodatingand friendly and the shopping public were some tough peeps! Thankful to have had the opportunity to go down and hang out.
Here is one plant we did not bring. This is called a Shangri La pothos, very recognizable by the curled up leaves 😃 and high gloss shine.
It can be a finicky plant though. Too much light? Leaves may open. Too little light? Leaves may open 😆 They may also lose that beautiful shine! They love high humidity and moderate indirect lighting. Unhappy deviation will help leaves unfurl.A few leaves will naturally unfurl, but it should be a very few. You can try to encourage them to recurl by changing their lighting although, it could also be an unstable mutation. This is a slower growing pothos and overall, a great addition to any collection. We are propagating; once we see solid new growth, they will be ready to move to new homes.
And I say collection, because most of us do ..not.. have ..just a couple.. plants 😅
Also pictured is an octopus planter that we printed. We use PETG filament, a tougher, temp & UV resistant filament with a wider variety of uses and low emissions. Can be used for outside projects and is our go to for planters and garden accessories. This one was not finished at the time, it has been one of the more fun pieces to complete 💙
