This quilt, which I have finished making for a client, showcases a stunning blue and turquoise front. Its pattern and fabric are beautifully chosen. One of its most striking features is the back, where the panel and fabric are perfectly matched. The quilt offers a dual appeal, effectively feeling like two quilts in one. The project I'm working on isn't personal; it's part of my volunteer work at a center run by a nun where I instruct ladies in quilting. Initially, the plan was to have the group create a quilt for the sister's birthday; however, missing the deadline might make Christmas the new target. I guided the ladies in making individual blocks, which I then put together and quilted. The hope is that the sister enjoys this thoughtful gift.
