Beaufort NC Wooden Boat Show was this weekend. Dave Bullock brought some of his magnificent model ships to display. Larry and Carolyn Williamson came by to visit. Made a few new friends and enjoyed the day. This was my setup to display two of my kayaks.

The 14’ Petrel Play is showing progress. I should have the hull striped by this weekend. Then flip it over and build the rest of the hull and deck. Once the striping is done the work is about 1/2 done. It should be ready for a March delivery.

The Georgetown Wooden Boat Show was a lot of fun. Made some new friends and had a lot of people comment positively about the two kayaks I brought. Even some of the other Boat builders complimented me on the quality of my boats.

I am getting ready for the Wooden Boat Show in Georgetown, SC on October 21,22. There will be boat builders from the Southeastern USA. It will be interesting to see how my work compares with other builders.
