Pattie creates handcrafted jewelry using natural gemstones, with each piece designed to celebrate the unique beauty of the stone. Every pendant is made by hand, allowing the natural colors, patterns, and character of each gemstone to shape the final design.

No two pieces are exactly alike - and that's part of what makes them special!!

One of the best things about photographs is that they tell STORIES. 📸

We're so happy to welcome back photographer and artist Ann Marie Cosgrove to Art On the Block this year!

Ann Marie started her photography journey in 2019 after 28 years as a teacher’s aide in the public school system, and she’s been turning the way she sees the world into art ever since.

Her photography is wonderfully eclectic. She sees a photograph wherever she looks; but she doesn't just love capturing a scene. She loves creating one.

Her business card says “photographer / artist / sometimes storyteller.”

And if you know Ann Marie, you know that last part is pretty accurate. 😉 She loves talking with the people who visit her booth and sharing the stories behind her work.

One of her recent favorites is “No Wake” — a whimsical, dreamlike photograph of a sleeping doll resting in an ornate doll buggy… floating in a lake. Yes, you read that right. 😍

It's the kind of artwork that makes you stop and wonder, “Wait… how did she create that?”

And that's exactly why we can't wait for you to see her work in person.

Your morning coffee deserves a little more beauty! ☕️

Meet Sarah Reynolds, who will be sharing a booth with her mom, Karen Larson, at Art On the Block coming up Sept 26!

Sarah creates functional wheel-thrown pottery designed to be used, loved, and enjoyed every day. Her mugs, spoon rests, oil bottles, and serving pieces combine beautiful forms with intricate carved designs inspired by the world around her.

Lately, Sarah has been drawing inspiration from Minnesota’s historic barn quilts, bringing those bold geometric patterns into her pottery and celebrating the traditions and craftsmanship of our region.

And then there’s Mom! ❤️

Karen Larson also creates wheel-thrown pottery, including mugs, bowls, and other everyday pieces. She believes the things we use every day should bring a little warmth and joy to our routines. One of our favorites? Her “My Happy Place” mugs. ☕️

We love that these two will be sharing a booth at Art On the Block. Come see what this mother-daughter duo has been creating, find a piece that speaks to you, and maybe take home something that makes your everyday rituals just a little more special.

Art is better when you know the person who made it.

We're so excited to have our friend Stephen Levey joining us for Art On the Block!

Steve is one of those people whose genuine love of art is impossible to miss. A longtime artist and retired teacher, he has a wonderful gift for making art feel approachable, meaningful, and meant to be shared.

His work spans a beautiful range of subjects, from wildlife and nature to pet portraits, commissioned pieces, and scenes that capture a moment or tell a story.

And timely for Patriot Day, we wanted to share one particularly meaningful piece of Steve's work.

This painting depicts a man, his best friend, standing quietly at the Vietnam Memorial, leaning against the wall where the names of those who were lost are etched into history. It's a powerful, reflective piece that reminds us that art can help us pause, remember, and connect with stories much bigger than ourselves. And as a vet himself, we want to sincerely thank him for his service! 🇺🇸 🙏🏻

That same sense of observation and storytelling carries through Steve's other work, whether he's painting the quiet beauty of wildlife or capturing the personality of a beloved pet.
