The only goal is to read five pages. That’s it.

Read your five pages and head home if you’d like. Or stay awhile and keep reading. Bring a quiet craft project, journal, knit, doodle, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

There’s no expectation to socialize, but you might find yourself chatting with someone who loves stories as much as you do.

Please bring your own chair and settle in wherever feels comfortable.

Sometimes the hardest part is opening the book. We’ll help with that. 💙

My friend Esther Schultz - Author always has a way of quietly capturing my classes at Lake Osceola Retreat

We had another beautiful event yesterday. Despite the intense heat, we stayed cool with iced herbal teas, fans, plenty of shade, juicy watermelon, and short indoor breaks. It turned out to be the perfect way to embrace the summer weather.

We made so many beautiful connections. Truly, any time spent on this land feels like a wild kind of magic. From the fresh spring streams and towering cedar trees to the motherwort, burdock, forget-me-nots, and jack-in-the-pulpits—every plant had a story to tell. They reminded us how grateful they are to be protected on this spring-fed land, ready to share their knowledge and gifts.
