🌸 My very first peony of the season bloomed today, and every year it feels just as special.

People often ask where the name Peony Lane Designs came from, and the answer is simple. I absolutely love peonies.

What I love most is that peonies take their time. They don’t rush. They spend years establishing strong roots before rewarding you with those breathtaking blooms. When they finally flower, they are bold, beautiful, and impossible to ignore.

Maybe that’s why I’ve always connected with them. Like a peony, it took me a long time to put down roots, learn, grow, and become who I am today. And now, it feels like it’s finally time to bloom.

Replacing patio cushions can cost a small fortune. So instead of buying new, I decided to see if I could save the ones I already had with outdoor fabric paint.

So much of what I do with Peony Lane Designs is rooted in giving things a second life and helping people see the beauty and value in keeping quality pieces out of landfills. I’m excited to have a deeper conversation about that journey and what sustainability can really look like in everyday life.
