Rejoice! The stone has rolled away and the tomb is empty!
The angel announced to the women that Jesus who was crucified and was no longer in the tomb, "He is risen, just as he said." (Luke 24:6-7)

Christ’s resurrection is the foundation of hope. By rising from the dead, Jesus Christ fulfilled his promise and solidified the pledge that we, too, would be raised from the dead to experience eternal life (John 14:19). This hope propels us through the darkest times. Knowing our faith in Lord Jesus is tested, we need only remember his resurrection was witnessed at least 12 times over 40 days. This wondrous miracle should persuade even the coldest heart or the most discerning skeptic!

As we enjoy this beautiful day with family and friends, remember the reason the day sparks such joy in our hearts. His resurrection sealed the Lord's promise that all those who believe in him will experience resurrection life and share in eternity (John 3:15).
