Did you know that the new Magnetic Track Trigger allows for versatility when activating a sound with our Just Plug® Sound System™?

It can be placed next to a track, allowing a model train to initiate a sound or installed on a presentation board to start a pre-recorded speech. Use Magnets and Wand Tips to create additional triggers or a wand (when paired with a dowl rod) to activate triggers.

: Have you ever used the Drybrush Technique? This is an easy, effective painting and application method for many products.

Dip a stiff, damp paintbrush into paint, pigments, dry products or other materials and blot the paintbrush on a piece of paper towel until the bristles fan out. Then lightly brush the material over the surface where you want texture, color or weathering.

One of our most popular scenes we have built is what we refer to as “the mountains.”

Our team drew inspiration from a photo they found taken at Habachtal, a stunning valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Austria. This breathtaking view inspired our artists to recreate this natural vista using a variety of our Woodland Scenics products.

: If you are wanting a smooth transition for your track from one height to another, Incline/Decline Sets are an easy way to do just that.

Each set comes with the pieces to create an incline or decline. Before selecting a 2%, 3% or 4% Incline/Decline Set, determine the distance you want to achieve for an incline or decline. This will help you know what set to select.

When our team was looking to build a realistic scene for our Fences, we came across a beautiful, rural homestead. The variety of fencing used at this farm, as well as the curvature of the road, not only worked well for highlighting our Fences. It also allowed us to include many additional products from our Field System, Road System and Built-&-Ready® Landmark Structures® line.

Alexander Croci is new to N Scale model railroading, but he has done an amazing job in building this beautiful 28”x40” layout. It started with a small N scale platform and transformed into a detailed, realistic town. He said everything except the sidewalks and four fire vehicles are from Woodland Scenics.
