There are moments that truly remind us how special this community is - and this is one of them!

After we shared Bubbah’s story on Saturday, someone very special saw his face: Lily, the owner of PawSpa, who had been Bubbah’s groomer when he was with his previous family. Seeing him here broke her heart, and she chose to turn that feeling into something incredibly kind

Earlier today, Lily came by with a goodie basket for Bubbah to take home, sponsored his adoption fee, and even gifted his future family a free grooming session - plus free nail trims for life. The compassion and generosity shown by our community never cease to amaze us. Thank you, Lily, for helping give this sweet senior boy the second chance he deserves.

Here’s Lily’s note:

“Hello, I am the owner of PawSpa, a fear-free grooming salon in Lisbon, Maine. Bubbah was one of my good clients, and it broke my heart to see him at the shelter. I have waived his adoption fee and hope to see him again. Bubbah has a credit for one free grooming and free nail trims for life.
