Ligotti’s fourth collection of short stories. The thirteen tales are grouped here into three themed sections and continue to develop the detached, philosophical horror of his earlier books.
This book first appeared as a limited edition from Durtro Press in the UK in 2006. This Mythos Books hardcover is the first American edition and features artwork by Harry O. Morris.

“Heroes and Horrors” by Fritz Leiber, edited by Stuart Schiff, published by Whispers Press in 1978.
A collection of nine stories mixing Leiber’s “Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser” fantasy material with his short horror fiction, fully illustrated by Tim Kirk.
Of the two Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser tales, one is original to this book. The rest of the stories first appeared in magazines and anthologies during the 1960s and 70s. Among them is the Cthulhu Mythos novella “The Terror from the Depths.”
This copy is one of 300 numbered copies signed by Leiber, Schiff, Kirk, and John Jakes, who has provided the introduction.

A limited fine-press reprint of Campbell’s 1985 collection of Lovecraftian short stories. This edition is illustrated throughout by Dave Felton, with jacket art by Samuel Araya, and is signed by both Campbell and Felton.
The original 1985 Scream/Press edition of “Cold Print” gathered most of the Cthulhu Mythos tales from “The Inhabitant of the Lake” (1964) together with Campbell’s later Mythos stories. This volume follows the contents of the expanded Headline edition from 1993, which includes twenty-one tales in all.

“The Rim of the Unknown” by Frank Belknap Long, published by Arkham House in 1972.
Long’s second Arkham House collection. It gathers twenty-three stories, most of which first appeared in the pulps of the late 1940s and 1950s.
These stories first appeared in science-fiction magazines such as “Thrilling Wonder Stories” and “Astounding Science Fiction.” One earlier tale, “The Man with a Thousand Legs,” was published in “Weird Tales” in 1927. This first edition features surreal cover art by Herb Arnold.
