3rd time at North America's largest honey bee expo with more than 4,100 people in attendance is now over. There are so many people who want to help honey bees which are so important to our food supply.

I got a thermal camera attachment for my phone this Christmas to have the ability to check on my honey bees. An item that I feel will be helpful in Minnesota. The strong red color is where the main cluster is located. On the right are Italian bees, second from the right are Carniolan, and third from right are pure Russian. I fed the Italians and they were actively eating. I gave a little feed to the Carmiolans because they hadn't eaten much of the feed from last time. The Russians as a breed cluster small and handle the cold better. They have yet to up and get any feed. I am proud of my girls for doing so well thus far this winter.
