We’re so excited to welcome Meg Auchenbach Art & Illustration, a talented local author and illustrator, to StoneRidge on September 11th!

Meg is the creative mind behind If You Are an Artist- a beautiful children’s book that encourages young artists to ask “How? Why? and What if?”

Come meet Meg, hear more about her journey as an artist and author, browse her books, and discover fun creative goodies including coloring sheets, lesson plans, stickers, bookmarks, and more!

Whether you have a budding artist at home, love children’s books, or simply want to support a local creative, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet the person behind the pages and see where art and imagination can take you.

Summer may be coming to an end, but we’re not quite ready to let go of all those sweet memories! Over the next few posts, I’m highlighting my Top 5 Summer Moments at Roots To Wings Studio- and there were SO many good ones to choose from!

🥳 First up: An unexpected birthday celebration during our Mini Mosaic Workshop!

What was supposed to be a group workshop suddenly turned into a private birthday party when our other family had to cancel because they were sick. And honestly? We were thrilled to celebrate with this special family!

The birthday girl got to spend the afternoon creating, laughing, and making memories with her best friend—all while making beautiful mosaic art together.

Sometimes the sweetest moments are the ones you never planned for. We loved getting to make her birthday extra special and celebrate her big day with us at Roots To Wings!
