This will be an unusual post🥸. I’ll try to put this info in a nutshell😂so a long time member of our church past away recently and left my husband as co executor of her estate. With all the beautiful belongings she had a doll collection. Most people don’t have room for an entire collection. My cousin And I are both former employees of Middleton Doll company and came up with an idea that might be fun and find homes for the dolls. Even though these are “preowned” they were purchased and put in a glass display case and never played with leaving them same as new with the information card that came with them (most from Danberry Mint). One of the organizations she requested donations be made to was to St Jude. So here is what I’m looking to see…if you would be interested in attending a “Doll Bingo” event where you purchase a ticket ($25). There are approximately 25 Dolls to win along with china Tea pots, and other collectibles. There will be concessions and goodies to purchase as well. We also will finish the event with either a silent auction or regular auction to sell the porcelain 22inch Raggedy Ann and Andy” set. Children 12 and under can attend at a reduced cost. We have a potential date of Sunday afternoon Oct 25. We need to have at least 30 people to attend. It would be held in Parkersburg at the Child Evangelism Fellowship building and they would receive a donation for use of the room! Please look at your calendar and comment YES to let me know how much of any interest there may be. This could be a fun “mommy and me” outing as well. Thank you!
