The Six Bridges Book Festival, hosted annually by the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), is a signature celebration of literacy, language, and storytelling named for the iconic bridges spanning the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock. The multi-day festival brings together national and local authors, illustrators, and poets for engaging panels, workshops, cooking demonstrations, and youth outreach initiatives across the city.
Pyramid Art, Books & Custom Framing / Hearne Fine Art play an essential role as a community venue and cultural sponsor for the festival. A cornerstone of Little Rock’s historic Dunbar neighborhood, the bookstore and art galley partners with CALS to host gallery exhibitions, author talks, and book signings that highlight prominent African American authors, fine artists, and illustrators.
