Little Rock Soirée Magazine set out on their yearly quest to explore the art of our city. This month’s issue features pieces and places that go beyond gleaming halls and into the intimate galleries and the towering murals.
“NATURAL STATE OF THE ART” showcases Judd Mann.
Cantrell Gallery has represented Judd’s glass art for many years. Besides the jewelry pieces shown in this image, he creates stained glass and fused pieces. Judd is one of those imaginative people who keeps coming up with new and unique ways of working with glass.

Wow! We had a great group gather to greet David Mudrinich during the opening reception for “In Natural Space”. Ranging in age from one to 85+. Lots of family and friends enjoyed getting to see his latest works.
Some folks were unavailable to attend, so we want to make sure you know that this exhibit will continue to be on display through October 17.

A huge thanks goes to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Eric Harrison for including details about “In Natural Space” by David Mudrinich in today’s news about ART & EXHIBITS happening in our area!

“In Natural Space,” recent landscapes and other paintings by Pope County artist David Mudrinich, a professor emeritus in art at Arkansas Tech University, “drawn from many of my experiences roaming within the Arkansas River watershed,” according to an artist’s statement, opens with a 6-8 p.m. meet-the-artist reception (with light nibbles) Friday, July 24 at Cantrell Gallery.
Admission to the gallery and the reception is free. Call (501) 224-1335 or visit the gallery website.

As one featured exhibit ends (Richland Creek scenes by Paul Caldwell) and we add new works by Kae Barron, we want to remind you of the Edwin Brewer pieces that are available at Cantrell Gallery. The next show, “In Natural Space” recent works by David Mudrinich is on display and we will host a reception celebrating this exhibit on Friday, July 24, 6:00 to 8:00. We hope you will take this opportunity to greet this Pope County artist while viewing his art.

We hope you have a safe and festive holiday weekend.

250 is a big one!
Additionally, this month, 50 years ago we moved into the Cantrell Heights Shopping Center (after our business had been located downtown for 6 years).

We’ll be open until 5:00 on Friday, July 3. Be back on Tuesday morning, July 7 at 10:00.
