Maybe you collected stones that caught the light, warmed your palm, or skipped across the surface of a mountain lake. I believe these experiences are old ways carried in all of us, no matter where we come from. In my work, I seek

to honor the wisdom and presence of trees and to celebrate the unique character and energy of each stone. Through wire-sculpted trees and handcrafted gemstone jewelry, I hope to create pieces that help people feel grounded, supported, and surrounded by a touch of beauty.

Every sculpture begins with the stone. I never know exactly what will emerge until the work is nearly complete. When I found this remarkable piece of black onyx, I wondered what tree of life sculpture could possibly possess enough strength, beauty, and vibrance to be worthy of it. As Radiance emerged, I was astonished by her grace and quiet power, and grateful for what had come to life through my hands.

Rooted in earth and reaching toward light, this Tree of Life suncatcher was created with gemstone foliage of peridot, amethyst, and golden rutilated quartz — a reflection of wild beauty, resilience, and connection.

I’m honored to have donated this piece to the Douglas Land Conservancy for their upcoming Under a Wild Sky online auction this August. Proceeds support the protection and stewardship of Colorado’s open spaces, wildlife habitat, and ranchlands.

This one-of-a-kind Willow Tree of Life was commissioned by a private collector and sculpted upon a remarkable specimen of raw amazonite from Lake George, Colorado, which they selected for the piece. Truly a co-creation.

Here's my fancy photo studio! 😜 I've tried photo boxes with lights and taking it outside. This works best for me: morning light coming in two corner windows, contrasting background poster boards and a tripod with a bluetooth clicker.

What a mess! Someone should clean up their studio 🤣
