FanciMats started as a custom framing shop 14 years ago which specialized in framing cross-stitch projects. With 2600 sq.

In July 2001 cross stitching supplies were added to the store and have been a mainstay ever since. We have a classroom, a full custom frame shop, and TONS of cross stitching supplies to delight and excite just about everyone that stitches. feet of charts, fabric and fibers, you're sure to find something to ignite your imagination. FanciMats is always happy to do special orders as we love getting whatever you need. In 2008, Cindy Edwards, a cross-stitching enthusiast, became the proud owner of FanciMats and More. A day I will never forget, 09/11/01. I can't believe it has been 25 years.

I have a heavy heart today as I am sure so many others have as well. A day of reflecting without a doubt.

I've known these wonderful ladies for over 20 plus years. I met them while working at the Title Company downtown. We would knit / crochet or work on a craft at lunch every Tuesday. We have all stayed in touch over the years.

We started making blankets for Project Linus way back in the day and have continued to do so through the years. Yesterday was our day for this year. We were very blessed to have Karen Loucks Rinedollar join us for lunch. Founder of Project Linus. Over the years that she has joined for the day or picked up blankets I have not been available to attend so yesterday was a huge treat for me to finally meet her.

If you are not familiar with Project Linus, please google and check it out. Karen has a book she wrote, Working for Peanuts and it tells you how Project Linus all came to life. There is also a 30th year edition that has just come out. If you enjoy reading, this is a great read.

I can't begin to tell you all how wonderful this makes me feel making and donating these blankets yearly.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins picked up on last year's girl trip and finished before the next trip commence's. (Not til the end of September but it will be here before we know it.) It's done also before Fall arrives, so I am ahead of the holiday!
