Hey Ascent Community! Here is a late-August report: flows are down and water temps are up on a lot of our favorite Front Range rivers.

That’s not a reason to stay home … it’s a reason to fish smarter. Get out early. Find the cooler water. Look at rivers with higher flows like the North Fork of the South Platte or the Frying Pan. Or head up high … alpine lakes stay cold all summer long and the fishing right now is outstanding.

Healthy fish, healthy rivers, better fishing for all. See you out there.
