One year ago today, I got the keys to Neon Bloom. 🔑🌿

At the time, it was just an empty little space and a very big idea.

Since then, it’s become a fun place for fellow plant lovers, and most importantly, a part of this community.

There have been plenty of late nights, unexpected problems, learning as I go, and moments where I’ve wondered what the hell I was doing. But there have also been so many people who walked through that door and made this worth it.

One year of Neon Bloom. One year of growing something from the ground up.

And we’re just getting started. 🖤🌱

Those tiny droplets forming along the edge or tip of a leaf can be guttation.

When a plant takes up more water than it can lose through transpiration, it can release some of that water through specialized structures called hydathodes.

You’ll often notice it in the morning, especially when the soil is moist and humidity is high.

And no, your plant isn’t necessarily overwatered. Guttation is a normal physiological process. 🌿

Save this for the next time your plant starts “crying.” 💧

A moment for our bird of paradise lovingly named “Courtney” after one of Elainas favorite people. The crystals and the sunshine made the most beautiful shadows on her leaf.

Elaina says “thank you” for all the well wishes. We are currently at Boston Medical Center and she is anxious to be home. With that said, the shop will not be opening this week. See you all next week! And again, thank you for all of the love and support. ❤️

We are in the Emergency room with my daughter tonight due to a burn. I will not be opening the shop tomorrow and I am unsure if I will be opening on Friday. I will keep you all posted, but right now, Elaina is the priority. Send some good vibes her way!

Good morning friends! Unfortunately I have been battling some severe cold symptoms for the last 24 hours. Instead of opening the shop and getting you all sick I have decided to stay home and finish up the final few touches on my website! It has been a labor of love and taking more time than I thought.

However…she is ready to be launched this week! So exciting.
