Where have your Golden Bee Bookmarks traveled?
I (Casey) am on Cape Cod this week and while I’m using a Turtle’s Soup bookmark instead of a bee bookmark, it got me thinking about all the GBB bookmarks that might be in beach bags and book totes this summer. If you’re out and about with your bookmark tag us in your pics!🐝❤️

Lots of new treasures to enjoy this weekend!
We have a restock of watercolors and plenty of Emily Lex watercolor workbooks.
We now carry the most adorable puzzle cards from Inklings.
And as always, our new release table and shelves are calling out to be enjoyed🐝

Summer Reading Bingo Cards are back in stock in the shop!
And our front table is dedicated to some recs for completing your card. As we carry mostly contemporary titles I especially wanted to highlight titles for the “A book before you were born” square.
If you became a vampire before modern publishing, or are some other flavor of immortal being, no worries! We won’t blow up your spot- you can just pick a book from the 1900s and we’ll call it a day.

Tomorrow, Sunday, July 19 is the last day of the CNY Book Craw. Our final giveaway celebration is Lucky Dip! The first 30 people to make purchases tomorrow get to pick a number and receive a prize. Prizes include tote bags, stickers, and an ARC of the upcoming Marlon James novel!

It’s Day 2 of the CNY Book Crawl!
We have two great authors with us in the shop today, and .
We have our first batch of BDWAB bundles that all include a new paperback (titles published in the past 6-7 months)
You can snag one of our adorable kid’s totes for free with any purchase of 3 or more Early Reader books.
And we’re excited to be carrying a new chocolate brand, ! We’re starting out with their mini bars as the perfect book snack add on. But if you love them we’ll stock the big bars too. We’re looking at rotating through a variety of chocolate brands over the course of the year and will definitely be asking for feedback in the future!

It’s back! The Second Annual Golden Bee Bookshop Bingo is here!
And this year I’ll be on the journey with you, sharing some of the ways I’m crossing off boxes and hosting a little event to help knock a few out at once.

These are the people who are excited to help you find the right book, who remember you by name, and have been a part of your best and hardest days.
Community is why you don’t shop at a*azon. Why you know that cheaper and easier has its own less visible costs, including only pennies on the dollar going back into your local economy. We’re weird and messy and so proud to be doing what we’re doing.
